AT&T Says ‘No’ to New iPhone in June or July?
The guys over at Macrumors have today said that one of their forum members has been told that their will not be an new iPhone this June or July.
This information comes from a customer service rep after one of Macrumor’s members contacted them to see why his upgrade entitlement had been pushed back.
Here is a snippet from that CS at AT&T said…
Apple has informed us that they do not plan to release the iPhone in the June to July timeframe, though there will be a newer version in the future. Unfortunately, we have not been given a release time for the new phone. We will release this information on our website when it is available to us.
Now we all know that the information that CS’s have is far from what will be reality but this time what the CS said seems to ring true with other rumours.
So is this a case of AT&T customer services reps making up their own info or is Apple not really releasing a new iPhone this June/July.
