Screen Swipe Sounds – Fun Sounds for Springboard Pages

Article by on Friday, 17 February 2012

The main reason for me Jailbreaking is toy make my iPhone a little bit more fun and to customise it to the way I like it and this next tweak certainly helps me do both.

Screen Swipe Sounds is available in Cydia for just 99c.

Once installed Screen Swipe Sounds will play a noise whenever you swipe your springboard to change the page your on.

There are several noises to choose from as you see from the list below:

  • Bubbles
  • Door
  • Giggle
  • God
  • Love
  • Nudge
  • Page (Female)
  • Page (Male)
  • Ping
  • Pong
  • Shift
  • Snap
  • Spring
  • Sprinkle
  • SSS (Screen Swipe Sounds)
  • Tune
  • Waga
  • Wipe
The best thing about Screen Swipe Sounds is that you can enable or disable it from its settings found in the Settings.app, so there is no need to uninstall it if you don’t want any sounds to play.

The developer of the tweak really did think about what he was doing when he built Screen Swipe Sounds as he added a volume slider also. This means that you don’t have to change the main volume on your device if you find the sounds in Screen Swipe Sounds a little loud.
I think that Screen Swipe Sounds is a great little tweak that makes your device a little more personal and fun. I hope Laurence Millar (developer) adds more sounds to it along the way.
