Honey… I’ve shrunk my icons!

Can you see what is wrong with my springboard icons. No their not themed, no their not in five columns. Yep that’s it, their really small.

Over the weekend a new tweak for your iPhone turned up in Cydia that will shrink your springboard icons.

When installed Shrink will add a new menu in the settings app of your iPhone. Within this setting you are able to pick from 7 different sizes of icons ranging from normal size to tiny.

So I am guessing you want to see what these different sizes look like well lets have a look then.

So we all know what normal icon sizes look like but for comparison here is a pic.

Next here is what your icons look like at 80%……

66%…..

50%……

33%…..

and finally 25%….

Personally I like mine now set to 80% and think that even the normal icon size looks odd. However there is not much difference between 80% and 75%.

So since Saturday I have been using icons at 80% and then yesterday I thought to myself this would be a great size for icons when using the Five Column SpringBoard tweak. (I don’t really like the look of the screen when using Five Column SpringBoard with normal Icons)

So here are my final thoughts on Shrink….

This is a great mod for your springboard and somehow makes things look even neater. This tweak works really well with Five Column SpringBoard. That saying that, I think that icons are anything less then 75% is stupidly small.
