A bloke by the name of Sherif Hashim from twitter has done the job and managed to find an exploit in the iPhone 3.1.3 baseband that will allow for a 3.1.3 unlock.
These details have kindly been sent to the dev-team to work on an unlock for us crazy iPhone Fans.
Musclenerd from the dev-team has confirmed the exploit does work and a release date for the unlock will come when the dev-team are ready.
So one last thing to say on the matter really is “Thanks Sherif_Hashim” nice to see others working with the dev-team on the cat and mouse game with apple.
