4S not 5!

Article by on Saturday, 14 May 2011

So with rumours spreading about the next generation iPhone its seems that reports are now showing that the new model will be named the ‘iPhone 4S’ (yes just like the iPhone 3GS) and not the iPhone 5.

Jefferies are claiming that the new model will feature small cosmetic changes but not a total redesign like we saw of the iPhone 4. They also claim that the ’4S’ will have improved front and rear camera and support HSPA+. Another change that they are saying will happen is that this new model will have Apple’s new A5 chip that is found in the iPad 2.

Due to the new workings of the ’4S’ Jefferies says that it is likely that both Sprint, T-Mobile USA and China Mobile will also see the device come to their networks.

This news does not come out of the blue however especially the part about the A5 chip, as we have heard recently that Apple has supplied the Higher Profile gaming developers with an iPhone running the A5 chip.

The new ‘iPhone 4S’ Jefferies have said will hit stores in September this year, once again keeping inline with earlier rumours.

So all that has to be asked is that will you be getting the ‘iPhone 4S’ or will you wait out for the iPhone 5?
