Take your accessories to the next level!

Here at MyGreatiPhone.com, we believe that your iPhone should be protected. The iPhone is a beautiful device and it would be a shame to ruin it with scuffs and scratches. So thats why today we bring you a review of this snap on case from Trexta. This is part of their stripes series and along with this one, it also comes in white as well as a racing series.

So lets see what this case has to offer !

Packaging:

So we take a look at the packaging and at first look its simple and clean and most probably easy to recycle. With a nice section at the bottom to feel the genuine leather of the case without having to open it. This is a great feature and something I really love about this company.

Inside the cardboard is the plastic box containing the case itself along with some goodies. Included is a fake iPhone, 1 screen protector, a cleaning cloth and a set of instructions on how to apply the screen protector. I love it when companies include that, its something simple but its always good to have another screen shield as they can wear easily. These aren’t cheap ones either!

The Case:

So the case is a snap on case (Thin hard-shell protection) so of course you are not going to get full on drop protection, something that could stop your iPhone from becoming damaged from a big height, and the same goes for protection with regards to the chrome. The case barely goes up to the chrome so don’t expect anything there. However, Trexta make up for this with its beautiful and elegant design that some of you business men might be looking for. It has a sleek and cool finish to it and definitely has that WOW factor.

The case is made out of a sturdy plastic to protect the phone from getting any tough bumps which we hope will never happen. That is then covered with a slick, smooth, shiny genuine piece of leather. I’m sure the camera doesn’t do it justice but I can ensure you this leather is top quality. The bonding is amazing, you hardly feel the leather meeting the plastic on the side and can rest asured that its not coming off. EVER ! If your wondering why they gave the case the name of “Stripes Series” , well you might of noticed these 3 stripes down the middle of the case. Now someone tell me that doesn’t just look amazing ! Stitching on this case is again top notch and is actually all done by hand. Every little feature of this case is done to almost perfection.

Lets take a look at the inside of the case now. So inside is a nice soft touch material, very similar matte finish to the incase slider which we reviewed on our YouTube channel. The material is extremely smooth and isn’t going to scratch your device in anyway so don’t be worried about that. You will also find the Trexta website link on the inside as a little reminder. Just a nice touch to the case.

With an iPhone, you have a few buttons you will want to have easy access to when having a case on and most cases do allow that. Well this one is no acception. You get full access to both volume rockers and silent switch. These are both as easy to use as if it was the naked iPhone. As we move along the phone and up to the top we see that its fully exposed allowing access to you power button along with your sim card port and headphone jack. Here could be an issue for scratches on your chrome so just be aware of that. This snap on case from Trexta leaves the bottom entirely open leaving your speakers and 30-pin connector exposed as well. Again with this showing as much as it does, you will get a few scratches on your bezel. With this case being a snap on, it can be quite easy to dock your iPhone with the case still on your iDevice unlike a lot of other cases which is a big plus.

So we have an iPhone, an iPhone has a camera, and wouldn’t it be stressful to have to take a case on and off just to take some pictures. Well no need for that as the Trexta Stripes Series case has a perfect cut out for your camera lens. If you look further down the case we see a logo in the bottom right corner. This is Trexta‘s logo and to be perfectly honest with you I’m not sure they needed that. If you have a black iPhone with this colour case then its not as bad and vice versa with the white version. But to me it seems pointless as they have they’re site quite clearly stated on the inside of the case. This little logo can also be a spot where dirt can get into the case and build up on that small area of your device. This wouldn’t be too good.

So all in all this is a superb case with some great cool features to it. Its elegant and sleek and will stand out of the crowd with its hot stripes down the middle. If your looking for a leather slim fitted case with a nice design and great price then this is the case for you!

This case gets a 4/5 from me ! Great case but I’m still on the hunt for the perfect one!
