Howdy all! Hope everything is going well.

Today were going to be looking at a case review, and this case is a beast. The case is made by Griffin and its called the survivor. Fortunately for you guys it is Verizon and AT&T compatible. This case is the motherload of protection, it crushes all who oppose it. Well, instead of sitting around, let’s get into the review. Please have your choice of payment ready.

So here is how this case works. Much like other highly protective cases, its a three part protection system. The first two are two (det)attachable hard cover pieces. They snap on leaving all the ports and hardware buttons open. The front part also has a built in screen protector. That screen protector is for sure not coming off. After you assemble that you put on the silicone case, over the hardcover. This silicone is heavy duty and has rounded corners to reduce shock impact. The silicone case also has raised buttons to provide easier access to your hardware buttons. They feel like they do not have a case on them, with the exception of the home button because its now out of the case, not dipping in. The only exception is that the headphone jack, as well as the mute switch are covered by these flaps. They are easy to retract though.

The only major thing you have to decide about this case is if you want the camera port to be covered or not. In comparison to other heavy duty cases, the camera is not covered. Here is is, with a retractable tab. However, I have found that this tab is like trying to pull 2, 50 pound magnets apart. I eventually gave up and cut off the flap off. Some of you may not have this problem, but I certainly did.

Bottom line though this case is military tested and proofed. You will be getting your money’s worth.

Through tests of my own and evidence from YouTube videos. This case is everything proof and water resistant, not water proof, water resistant. I myself have thrown this phone through a wall to prove its protection to my friend and shot a three pointer with it. While I do not recommended doing that, you can see my point about protection. Rest assured that if you drop this phone, it will not break. The case also comes with a holster too, from those of you unlucky people who have dropped their phone out of their pocket.

While there are many other heavy duty cases out there, this one takes the cake overall. It curb stomps the Otterbox, Ballistic, etc. etc. etc. I can personally say that because I have tested all but it is ultimately it is for you to decide. Below are some screenshots for you all to enjoy.
