List Launcher – The Way Spotlight Should Be

Article by on Wednesday, 8 December 2010

We’ve got a great tweak for you today! New to the Cydia store is a tweak called ListLauncher. This tweak offers a major helping-hand to iDevice users. At the bottom of the article is a screenshot exemplifying the tweak.

If you don’t enjoy using folders, or have many folders to navigate around on your iDevice, ListLauncher is a wonderful solution. When you scroll over to your Spotlight, all your apps are now listed alphabetically, as if you have searched for them. You no longer have to scroll through your pages or click on folders, regardless of how many you have. It truly cuts down the amount of time it takes to find and open an app. On top of that the tweak is flawless.

As Dino Zambas once said, “It’s the little things that make a big difference, just the attention to detail”

We here at MGiP feel that statement is completely true. ListLauncher is simplistic and its a tweak that many should just have regardless of the degree that they use it. It should clearly be implemented in the future iOS firmwires, but guess we’ll have to wait and see.

For 0.99¢ head over to Cydia and support the developer. After all, the holidays are here!
