iTunes 9 – Effects on Currently Jailbroken Devices + New JB Details?
According to ModMyi, the new iTunes 9 does NOT appear to interfere with currently jailbroken iDevices. There is no news as yet from the Dev-Team or Chronic-Dev about whether it will have any impact on a new Jailbreak though, so don’t jump the gun by updating yet.
Usually it only takes the Dev-Team a very short time to ready the necessary tools for the new jailbreak and release, so we advise you to ONLY Download the firmware ready for when you need it, DO NOT HIT UPDATE. We can’t stress this enough!!!
There is some good news though. Chronic-Dev recently posted some updates on their Twitter account;
So it is now evident that we will undoubtedly see a new jailbreak very soon, so sit back and relax, and maybe think about all those poor iPod fans who have had their dreams of a camera destroyed by Apple.
