IOS 4.1 to Land 8th Sept!
From this weeks Apple event we all knew that iOS4.1 would be released next week along with the shipping of the the new iPod Touch. But what was not announced was an exact date. Well it seems that the UK have slipped something that the US haven’t.
The UK Apple website www.apple.com/uk has let it slip on their iPhone software update page that the new firmware will be released on September 8th, that’s right next Wednesday. This info has not been added to the USA version of the Apple website www.apple.com all it says there is that it is coming soon.
Is this a slip of the tongue by Apple UK or is it really meant to be there. The iPod Touch’s Software Update page says ‘Coming Soon@ on both USA and UK site.
Please remember though when the update is released please DON’T rush to your computer and connect your iDevice and click update. By updating your firmware without word from the Dev-Team first may result in your device never being able to be unlocked or jailbroken again.
