In Hong Kong, iPhone 4S sold out in 10 Minutes

Two weeks ago we reported that the iPhone 4S would be available as a pre-order in more than 10 new markets, one of them being Hong Kong. In the past, when the iPhone 4S has gone on pre-order, it usually takes about anywhere from 50 minutes up to two hours to sell out, but according to a report by Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brian White, The iPhone 4S in Hong Kong has sold out of iPhone within only 10 minutes.
Brian White says the following:
”We believe this rapid sell out will rest concerns surrounding the uptake of the iPhone 4S in the Greater China region that were driven by the limited language capability of Siri, which did not launch in Mandarin or Cantonese.”
