Having Issues With Orange UK??

Article by on Tuesday, 20 July 2010

Reports have been flooding in from Orange UK iPhone users that they are having issues connecting to the Internet. In actual fact this issue is across the whole Orange network, but as we have discovered, there is a good reason behind it.

Orange is currently merging their network with T-Mobile in a bid to create the UK’s largest mobile network which will serve 30 million UK users. Planned benefits to T-Mobile and Orange customers include: roaming across both networks due later this year, at no additional cost to the customer. Other advantages they suggest are more general promises: “the scale of the new company allows delivery of best value, best choice, best coverage and best quality in the industry”

The two networks will continue to trade under their individual names but will be run by a new “Umbrella” type corporation called “Everything Everwhere”.

So although you are experiencing issues now, very soon you should be receiving the best coverage ever! So hang on in there and services should resume shortly.
