BBSettings for iOS 5
Howdy all, hope everything is going well.
So I’ve been on the fence about updating to iOS5 mainly because of the tethered jailbreak factor. I like my untethered jailbreak and all the tweaks that are iOS4 compatible but…I want iOS5. For now and for a while, I have chosen to stay on iOS4 but this tweak is really gaining my attention.
BBSettings is the name and its a great iOS 5 tweak. Basically, it is SBSettings with a little UISettings on steroids. Sounds awesome, right? Oh ya, its free too!
Redmondpie, which is where this article and images are sourced from, took the liberty to draw out BBSettings for you convenience.
Favorite apps: this sections allows you to pin apps of your choice, allowing you to get them right from Notification Center. If you have many homescreen pages, this will be a great time saver.
Running applications: displays all the applications currently running in the background. This will achieve the same task as pressing your Home button twice while you’re on your home screen or sinside any application.
Performance Manager: this will display the current memory and CPU usage at any given time. There’s also a process manager displaying all open processes, as well as a Wi-Fi information screen that displays important data such as the device’s current IP address and the Wi-Fi network it’s connected to.
Toggles: from here, you can perform basic tasks such as switching Wi-Fi or Airplane Mode one and off.
Settings: this lets you access basic iOS settings such as adjusting the volume or brightness.
Ok now one last thing, to use this tweak you are going to have to be jailbroken on iOS5 tethered so just keep that in mind. If you have a dev account and you want to be on iOS5 then give this a shot because it’s well worth it. As it stands, it is not iPad compatible, but give it some time, K? Developers are busy.
Happy downloading!
