A new addition to the “Infini” series of tweaks, welcome “InfiniFolders”!

Article by on Tuesday, 31 August 2010

I just wanted to take a second or two to actually write a quick article about another one of the “InfiniX” products. This time around, the app is called “InfiniFolders”, and it is created by the same man who brought you the “InfiniDock” and “InfiniBoard”. This app brings one of the most desired features to iOS 4 – the ability to have infinite icons in any of the folders that iOS4 creates, instead of the prior limit of only 12. This enables scrolling up and down to view all of the icons in your folder, and it gives you a quick view of virtually everything. It also opens up the possibilities for us neat freaks. For example, if you’re a minimalist, you can simply take all of your icons and drop them into one folder, and that would be the only one item that you have displayed on your Springboard. If you are like me and suffer from digital OCD, and prefer everything to have its place and opt to organize everything, then this will also work. I personally have combined the features of “InfiniFolders” and “InfiniDock”, and just simply placed all of my folders on the added screens that “InfiniDock” permits me to use.

So once again, thank you to @chpwn for bringing us this wonderful little tweak. You can purchase this gem for $1.99 on Cydia today.
