Are you experiencing a peculiar new “10% power down” bug with your A5 iPhone 4[s] or iPad 2 jailbreak? Help us find out what it is!
Recently, it has come up in conversation amongst the MGiP staff, and we all were shocked to discover that we were all experiencing the same exact issues: At exactly 10% of our battery, our iPhone 4[s] devices were shutting down, as if it were out of battery power. Then, when we tried to turn it back on, knowing full well that we had at least 10% battery left, it would not allow us to turn it back on until we plugged it in and began to charge it. At first we didn’t notice a pattern, we figured it was just one of the random reboot issues that come with the privilege of being jailbroken. Not only that, but once we started charging it, it would power on instantly, without waiting for for it to charge up to the mandatory 5%.
So, to help all of us figure out what tweak is causing the bug, we are listing all of our installed tweaks, and if you are having the same issue, and notice that you have common tweaks installed as well, then let us know!

Contact us via Twitter @MyGreatiPhone, @Nazaroth, @d900man, @LVCIFER, @DannyLargan, or you can leave messages for us on our Facebook page. Something important to note: while the suspect is a rogue tweak, it may also be the A5 jailbreak ITSELF. I, LVCIFER, jail broke using Absinthe for the Mac. Please contact us and let us know if you are having the same issues, and let us know what you think the suspected tweak is. Also, feel free to experiment, and add/remove tweaks until the problem stops. Either way, please keep us in the loop so that we can help others and get the word out as well.
